500 ml (2 cups ) flour unbleached all purpose
10 ml (2 tsp. ) Baking powder
1 ml (1/4 tsp. ) Salt
180 ml (3/4 cup ) unsalted butter, softened
310 ml (1 1/4 cup) sugar
3 eggs
180 ml (3/4 cup) milk
5 ml (1 tsp. ) Vanilla extract
1 Casseau of fresh blackberries
Preheat oven to 180 ° C (350 ° F). Butter and flour a mold of 20 cm (8 inches) .
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Book.
In another bowl , cream the butter and sugar with electric mixer . Add eggs , one at a time, beating until the mixture is pale and homogeneous , about 2 minutes. At low speed, add the dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla. Add the blackberries and mix taking care not to break the fruit.
Pour the batter into the mold. Bake about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes, unmold and let cool on a rack.
