2 full spoon of butter
1 pork tenderloin about 2 pounds
2 chopped onions
1 1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 s. dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried savory
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup water
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Wrap the pork tenderloin in aluminum foil after having seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook about 45 minutes at 350 .
In the skillet, add the onions and cook, stirring , 3 to 5 minutes or until they are softened . Add ketchup , vinegar , thyme , savory , sugar and water. Salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes . Pour reserved sauce over pork. Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven at 325 ° F for about 1 hour or until pork is tender.
