1 lb. beef roast
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup water
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and brown the roast on all sides. Season with the pepper, and transfer to a slow cooker.
Dissolve the water, onion, green pepper and the chili sauce, and pour into the slow cooker.
Cover, and cook 4 hours on High or 8 hours on Low.
