30 ml (2 tbsp.) Butter
1 onion, chopped
1 can 796 ml (28 oz) tomatoes
1 l (4 cups) chicken boullion
60 ml (1/4 cup) uncooked rice
Do not use instant rice (cooked in 5 minutes)
1 can 340 ml (12 oz) corn kernels
Salt and pepper
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Sauté the onion for about 5 minutes, until they are transparent.
Add tomatoes and broth. Bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Add the rice and cook for 20 minutes.
Stir in corn grain.
Salt and pepper and cook for 10 more minutes.
Time: 55 minutes
