4 lb Spareribs
3/4 c Dijon mustard
1 tb Soya sauce
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1 c Liquid honey
2 3 tbsp red hot sauce
2 ts Onion powder
To prepare ribs:
Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Place in large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil Reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 1 hour or until meat is tender. Drain ribs. Brush Golden dijon barbecue sauce generously over ribs. Barbecue or broil 4 inches from heat about 5 minutes per side. Baste ribs again with sauce just before serving. Makes 6 servings.
Golden Dijon Bbq sauce:
In medium saucepan, combine honey, dijon mustard, hot sauce, soya sauce, onion and garlic powders. Bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, 15 - 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Refrigerate any leftover sauce. (Great for barbecued chicken too)
