1 lb. ground pork
2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
C. 1 tablespoons of Parmesan, freshly ground
1 / 2 c. teaspoon salt
1 / 2 c. teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
sauce
1 lb. extra lean beef
1 / 2 cup chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
C. 1 tablespoons olive oil
1 stick of tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
2 c. teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large bottle of vegetable juice
Mix all ingredients in a bowl for the meatballs.
Shape into balls 1 1 / 2 "wide.
Sauté onions in olive oil over medium heat. Add meat and cook 2-3 minutes.
Stir in sauce ingredients.
When the sauce boils, add the meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 2 hours.
Serve over spaghetti.
