1 / 2 cup butter
1 / 2 cup of pure cocoa powder
1 cup peanut butter
3 / 4 cup liquid honey
1 / 4 cup sugar
3 cups crispy rice cereal
2 cups peanuts, chopped
1 tsp. teaspoon vanilla

In a large saucepan, melt butter, stir cocoa. Add peanut butter, honey and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is hot and smooth. Remove saucepan from heat.

Add cereal, peanuts and vanilla and mix well. Press lightly into a 9 inch square pan (23 cm) side, not greased.

Let cool 2 hours or until the mixture is taken. Cut into squares and keep covered in refrigerator.

Makes 15 large or 36 small squares
