1 pound lean ground beef
1 / 2 pound lean ground pork
1 packet of mushroom soup about 70 g
1 / 2 cup bread crumbs
1 / 2 cup finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 can pizza sauce 7 1 / 2 oz (213 ml), divided
4 oz (125 g) mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine beef, pork, soup mix, bread crumbs, onion, egg and half the pizza sauce. Pack the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie (23 cm) in diameter.

Bake 40 minutes or until mixture is cooked. Drain. Spread remaining pizza sauce over meat and top with mozzarella. Continue cooking 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut into wedges and serve.
