1 1 / 2 pound lean ground beef
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
2 cans of pizza sauce 7 1 / 2 oz (213 ml) each
1 package spaghetti sauce mix approximately 43 g
2 cups cut green beans, frozen
6 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
3 / 4 cup hot milk
2 tsp. tablespoon butter
1 1 / 4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large skillet, cook beef and mushrooms until meat is browned and the mushrooms are tender. Drain. Stir in pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce and green beans. With a spoon, spread the meat mixture in a rectangular dish with a capacity of 2 liters, shallow baking dish.

In a large saucepan of boiling salted water, cook potatoes 20 minutes or until tender. Drain, then mash with milk and butter. Stir in 1 cup of cheddar. Salt and pepper to taste.

Spread mashed potatoes on the layer of meat and vegetables. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 30 minutes or until pie is heated through China.

Makes 6 servings
