1 pound lean ground beef
1 / 4 cup bread crumbs
1 packet of mushroom soup 1 serving
1 / 2 cup milk
Preheat oven to 500 ° F.
In a large bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, soup mix and milk; shape mixture into 32 meatballs. Place meatballs side by side in a large shallow baking dish, covered with foil. Bake 8 minutes or until meatballs are cooked, drain.
Add the meatballs to the sauce as follows:
Cheese sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tbsp. tablespoons butter. Stir in 2 tbsp. of flour and 3 / 4 of tsp. teaspoon dry mustard, then gradually 1 1 / 4 cup milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce boils and thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add 1 1 / 2 cup shredded Canadian cheddar and stir until melted. Makes about 1 1 / 2 cup.
Stir in meatballs and serve with rice or noodles.
