Listed in: Pork
Ingredients

Flour
4 lean pork chops, about 3 / 4 inches thick (2 cm)
butter
1 / 3 cup finely chopped onion
1 tsp. Tea mix beef broth
1 pinch ground thyme
1 / 2 cup apple juice
6 slices of apple red, thick
2 / 3 cup whipping cream

Cooking Instructions

Flour the pork chops, lightly shake off excess flour.

In a large skillet, melt some butter over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops on both sides, remove from pan and reserve.

In the same skillet, cook onion until tender, adding more butter as necessary. Incoporer the mixture to beef broth and thyme, add apple juice and stir well. Return meat to skillet. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 50 minutes or until meat is tender.

Fifteen minutes before baking, arrange the apple slices over the meat. Remove meat and potatoes from pan and keep warm.

Pour the cream into the skillet; stir well and bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce is desired consistency. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour over meat and apples, and serve.
