In a large saucepan, cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and chicken broth mix, then gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce boils and thickens. Remove from heat.
Stir Colby and stir until melted. Add pasta, sausage, peas and ketchup and cook over low heat, stirring, until mixture is hot. Do not boil. Serve with slice of toast.
