2 whole wheat pitas
1 can pizza sauce è 7 1 / 2 oz (213 ml)
1 / 2 cup chopped green pepper
1 / 2 pepperoni, sliced thin
1 can sliced mushrooms 10 oz (284 ml) drained
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
1 / 4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Split each pita into 2 round slices. Place slices of pita bread on a baking sheet, hollow side up.
Divide the sauce equally between pizza crusts. Garnish with green pepper, pepperoni, mushrooms, or any other topping. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan.
Bake 20 minutes or until the pita pizzas are heated through and cheese is bubbly.
Makes 4 servings.
