1 lb cook pork -- thinly sliced
1 1/2 cup bbq sauce
4 large hamburger buns -- buttered
BBQ sauce:
1 medium onion -- sliced crosswise
1 clove garllic -- minced
2 tablespoon butter
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup dry white wine or sherry
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Stir sliced pork into bbq sauce. Cook over low heat until pork is hot. Spoon pork with bbq sauce into hamburger buns. Garnish with dill pickles and coleslaw.
BBQ sauce:
Saute onion and garlic in butter in heavy saucepan for 3-4 min or until onion is soft, stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Simmer 5 min.
