Spicy lamb kebabs with pitas: Submitted by: Jojo | Date Added: 11 Mar 2013 Ingredients:

2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp. tablespoon of cumin
1/2 tsp. teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/2 pounds lamb fillet (700 g)
1 lettuce heart
4 sprigs of fresh mint
1/2 cucumber
4 tomatoes
1 red onion
Salt and black pepper
2/3 cup plain yogurt (200 g)
8 small pita bread

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat grill to maximum temperature. Put the oil, pressed garlic and spices in a bowl.

Cut the meat into 1 inch (2.5 cm). Soak cubes in the mixture of oil and spices, then thread onto skewers.

Wash the lettuce, mint, cucumber and tomatoes. Chop the mint and set aside a few strands, cut the cucumber into cubes and chop the tomatoes, peel and chop the onion, put in a bowl.

Salt and pepper brohettes and grill 4-6 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.

Beat yogurt with a little water to lighten it. Salt and pepper.

Remove skewers from the oven. Heat pitas, turning once and letting them properly inflated.

Split the pitas and fill with salad. Add meat and pour a little sauce over yogurt. Garnish with mint and serve.
