1/4 cup minced onion
1/2 c. tsp sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. tablespoons olive oil
2 c. flour
2 cans 284ml canned beef broth
1/4 c. teaspoon thyme
1 bay leaf
2 c. tsp tomato puree
pepper

Cooking Instructions:

Cook onion in butter and sugar and oil at High for about 2 minutes until the onion begins to brown. Stir constantly.
Add flour, mix well.
Add consumed, pepper, thyme, bay leaf and tomato puree. Mix well.
Bake to get a simmer, reduce heat, cook about 10 minutes. Important: Stir a few times during cooking.
