1 1 / 4 cup rolled oats quick cooking
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 / 2 cup butter, softened
1 / 2 cup peanut butter
3 / 4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. teaspoon salt
1 tsp. teaspoon vanilla
1 package chocolate chips semisweet 300 g
1 / 2 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped peanuts

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

In a medium bowl, mix the oats with the flour.

In a large bowl with mixer, work the butter and peanut butter until the mixture is light and fluffy, gradually add brown sugar, salt and vanilla. Stirring constantly, add the dry ingredients, chocolate chips, coconut and peanuts.

Pack the mixture evenly into a rectangular mold of 15 inches by 10 inches, shallow, ungreased. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on rack in pan. Break into irregular pieces.

Makes about 4 dozen pieces
