3 / 4 cup all-purpose flour
1 / 2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. teaspoon baking soda
1 tsp. teaspoon salt
1 / 2 cup butter, softened
1 / 2 cup sugar
1 / 3 cup liquid honey
2 eggs
2 cups muesli type cereals
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 1 / 2 cup golden raisins

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a medium bowl, combine all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour, baking soda and salt.

In a large bowl with electric mixer, cream the butter until light and fluffy, gradually add sugar and honey. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

While incorporating the dry ingredients, grains, cheddar and raisins. (Batter will be thick.) On an ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by tablespoonfuls, about 2 inches apart. With floured fingers, flatten each spoonful of dough into a circle 2 inches in diameter.

Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove cookie sheet from oven, immediately remove cookies and cool on a wire rack.

Makes about 5 dozen
