1 cup maple syrup
2 tsp. tablespoons butter
1 / 4 cup whipping cream
1 / 4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
In a medium saucepan, combine maple syrup and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches boiling point. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool. Stir in whipping cream and nuts. Serve hot or cold over ice cream.
