6 hard boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
1 / 2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 / 3 cup finely chopped celery
2 tsp. tablespoons finely chopped shallots
1 1 / 2 cup shredded Canadian Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
4 pita breads, halved
alfalfa

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium bowl, mix eggs with mayonnaise, celery and shallots. Stir in cheddar. Salt and pepper to taste.

Partially open each pita half. The line of alfalfa and stuff them with the egg mixture.

Makes 4 servings
